Regarding paid social media ads, I don't use IG/Instagram and so am totally ignorant of how it functions but I do use FB regularly. Again, I may be ignorant of how it works but when I go to FB, I never see ads (as I would on say Youtube). What am I missing? Are all the people who are advertising their film on FB somehow missing me completely? All thoughts appreciated.
Hi Doug, that's the beauty of FB 'ads' - they look like normal posts but someone is behind that paying for it to show up on your feed :) So if you look at your FB feed on any given day, only a few posts served to you are actually 'organic'. The rest are all paid ads. Let me know if you notice now when you open up FB!
Excellent conversation and both comments provide the answers to my thoughts and questions 😀
Thanks Tony!

My eyes are now wide open. :) We'll see.
Great advice, especially regarding a producer/filmmaker's responsibility to step up on marketing.
Thanks Linda!
Having someone on the team good at marketing is a huge bonus. Build momentum toward launch.
Agree, Tom!
We're still with you.. 🙏🏻
Thank you!
