I'd like to know how much value having a 1-week theatrical run adds to a film? Let's just say you've sold a few films to Japan for around $60k each. But then, you suddenly make a movie that has the 1-week theater run. How much do you think Japan would suddenly want to pay?

Hi Eric, a 1 week theatrical run likely won't have an impact on buyers paying more for your film. A small theatrical run is more of a marketing expense rather than seeing any ROI from it...

it can but is often correlated to how much you spend! Or it could do absolutely nothing so it's roll the dice or take the attitude of something is better than nothing but it may end up just being throwing money away for no impact on ROI. It's a tough call!
