PGA says "survive til '25"...personally I've pivoted to selling social media ads. It's paying the bills. Productin wise, looking at Louisiana yet they have had severe weather back to back with tornado warning count in the 100's! That's the past week! I'm interested in possibly moving production to Ireland? Thanks so much for your insight in the newsletter and cheers to your productions moving ahead with speed!
Very smart to pivot/diversify into social media ads. I generally Producer and LP on films (all the "Taken" films) and then have done budgets for producers who then go into the marketplace to discover that the market does not cover at all their actual project cost. For films in the US, it's near impossible. I did four budgets for US drama and comedy films which were modestly contained (i.e. 3 weeks one location; 2 weeks with approx 6 locations) and the budgets were $7-8-10 M). Overseas is indeed the key. Right now, I am learning more Unreal Game Engine and Virtual Production. I like that you are focusing Cherelynn on family oriented action adventure as I think there is a solid market for it.
P.S. Stacey, what's the deal with Roku and why are they always contacting me? Do I want a Roku channel? Seems like there is no traffic and I would have to buy mass ad spend to drive viewers?
Roku is one of the biggest AVOD channels and yes you have to drive viewers but you have to do that with any platform! Obviously if your film attracts an audience on there it may come up more in the algo and the platform can do some lifting for you...

Good for you on selling social media ads! Sounds more lucrative than filmmaking right now lol.
